RAP AGM 2017

Tuesday 17 October 2017 - Filed under Events

The AGM took place on Saturday, 14th October and we were very happy that mayoral parties from Boroughbridge and Pateley Bridge were able to join us.

Before we got down to serious business, some of us enjoyed decorating key rings.

The results were very colourful.

The AGM went well. Jerry read the Chair’s and Treasurer’s reports and Vice Chair Bethany read the report that she had written herself. Carole Anderson was elected to join the Management Committee and suggestions were taken for next year’s programme.

Then it was time for this year’s RAP’s Got Talent to be judged by the mayors and mayoresses. The audience was very appreciative.

Rebekah stunned us all with her hip-hop rap routine…

… and still had the energy to partner Ben in their interpretation of the theme song from Titanic.

Emma performed a magic trick. How did she make that ping-pong ball return to her each time?

Matthew sang for us, Ben played his penny whistle and volunteer Maggie was pressed into reading an extract from her new children’s book Wheels on Fire, but Margaret was the winner with some of her poetry.

Have you ever seen a happier face?
