We saw RAP out in style with a wonderful cake from Sue

and pies from the Walled Garden.

Sue and her helpers also had us making Christmas baubles.

It was sticky work but fun.

Jerry arranged a display of photographs and other memorabilia collected over the years.

Many of the photographs belonged to the late Margaret Cawthorne, whom we remember with great fondness. It was also a time to remember other RAP members and volunteers no longer with us.

No Christmas event would be complete without a few carols.

It was especially appropriate that Joy Rayden, who founded RAP 25 years ago, should be there to accompany us on her guitar and lead the singing. She also made a touching speech thanking Jerry and his team of volunteers for all their hard work over the years.

The final group photograph. Cllr Pauline McHardy, who has been a friend and supporter of RAP for many years, can be seen on the left hand side. She brought us a Christmas gift each, which we appreciated very much.

Chris Searle organised the final RAP pool competition. Stevie won it and can KEEP the trophy. Well done, Stevie!
